I've been a fan of Pat Hatt's books for quite awhile now, and after I stumbled across these, I got a bit excited. They seemed a bit different than what I was used to - but they still looked like they would have that Pat Hatt flavor.

So, that being said, I grabbed the first one - Imagine Hatt: Season One, Episode 1: The Curse.

I was not disappointed either. From page one, I knew I was reading a Pat Hatt book - and the awesome part is that I jumped right into the story right there. There was no slow build up, nope, I was in the thick of things within a minute.

The book is a relatively quick and extremely funny read. To give you a bit of a synopsis (But without giving anything away) one of Pat's cats decides that Pats writing is just no good, and he jumps in in an attempt to save him and begins to spin the most brilliant of tales. And thus the adventure begins...

There's a car accident, there's mystery, there's love - there's extremely funny names and quite a few jokes. There's death and sadness. It's got it all! And best of all, it's written by a cat (or...is it?) so it's fun to think about something like this happening. As always, Pat takes things to a whole new level that I just didn't think a human brain could go. Again, probably because it was written by a cat!
If you're wanting to read something that's fun and entertaining over the course of a lunch break or two, then definitely grab a copy for yourself and get in there.
